Before submitting your manuscript:
We use these same criteria during prereview. Checking your manuscript yourself before submitting may help increase the likelihood that it will pass prereview.
Step 1: A Coordinating Adult (Mentor) makes an account in our platform (see link below)
To comply with laws to protect minors online, such as Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, we require an adult (the “Coordinating Adult”) to submit the manuscript on behalf of the student authors. The coordinating adult will:
Step 2: Coordinating Adult submits the manuscript on our platform
Step 3: Coordinating Adult invites the first student author (and any other authors) to join the manuscript on our platform.
Step 4: Student joins the platform and approves the manuscript
Once a manuscript has been submitted to eiRxiv, our Submissions Editor will conduct a prereview check to determine whether changes are needed before the manuscript can be posted. The coordinating adult must guide the student through making these revisions, and submit the revised manuscript.
If the manuscript is accepted, all authors will also need to sign publication consent forms prior to publication.
